LCFMS Fall Harvest Masquerade
Join in this celebration of our farmers’ harvest in style. Start with a glass of local sparkling wine and be whisked away to a secret location to enjoy a farm-to-table harvest dinner prepared by some of Langley’s finest chefs, in a beautiful farm setting with live music. Please come dressed to impress in black-tie attire, with your most creative mask. We look forward to celebrating Langley’s bounty with all of our amazing market supporters.
Proceeds from the evening will go towards the many programs offered by the Langley Community Farmers Market non-profit society, including our Food Recovery and Young Entrepreneur Programs.

LCFMS Potluck Wrap-Up Party – October 4th
Join us in ending the main market season with good company and amazing community. Meet in the courtyard of the KPU Campus at 5:00 pm with your favorite dish. Bring what you need to serve the dish, we will have enough plates and utensils on hand. Send us an email to tell us what you will be bringing and how many people will be coming from your group!
Apple Bake-Off – September 27th
Join us for our 2nd Annual Apple Bake Off! Test out those thanksgiving dessert skills in front of a panel of judges for your chance to be named #1 Apple Makie. Anything apple based goes! To sign up, send a message to firstname.lastname@example.org with the heading “Apple Pie Bake Off”.
Organic Week – September 16-24th

2nd Annual Gumboot Gala Fundraiser – June 10th, 2017
If you care about food security, local farmers and the Langley community, come support us in our annual fundraiser event. The “Gumboot Gala” will be a night of dinner and dancing to celebrate our local makers, bakers and growers! Funds raised will help support programs such as our brand new Food Recovery Program and Nutrition Coupon Program: getting fresh food to low-income families and seniors of our community. We have some fresh updates on our strategic plan as well as some exciting new programs to introduce. What: LCFMS Annual General Meeting When: Wednesday, March 8th, 2017 from 7:00PM to 8:30PM Where: Kwantlen Polytechnic University, Langley – 20901 Langley Bypass, Room 1010 Who: LCFMS Board and Staff, Vendors, Market Members, Community Partners and Sponsors, and any one else in the community who would like to learn more about their Market! Light snacks and refreshments will be provided **IMPORTANT NOTE FOR 2016 MEMBERS** Please ensure to have your Market Membership cards from 2016 for voting purposes. Please review the special resolution below regarding the New Societies Act to be voted on at the AGM. Please also take a moment to review the ‘Proposed Constitution‘. Notice of Special Resolution: *Whereas the New Societies Act of British Columbia has been passed by the government of BC, *Whereas the LCFMS is required to comply with the New Societies Act, and *Whereas the LCFMS has updated its constitution and bylaws to comply with the New Act, *Therefore be it resolved that the membership rescinds the previous constitution and bylaws and adopts the new constitution and bylaws as of March 8, 2017.
