Are you a Farmers Market regular? Do you think you know the best sources for everything local – honey, jam, coffee, cheese, tomatoes …?
Sounds like it’s time to challenge yourself: Pledge to source as much of your food as possible from local farmers and producers for one whole week, and show us what you’ve got!
From Wednesday July 26th to Wednesday August 2nd (the day of Langley Eats Local), LEPS and the Langley Community Farmers Market are challenging you to be a local food champion. Don’t worry, we won’t hover over you, or ask you to report on the source of every ingredient. But we do want you to brag on social media, and we do want to reward you for your efforts!
Sign up online to receive emails through the week with tips and tricks to help you along your way. Spend your week feasting on the delights of the Fraser Valley – and posting on Facebook, Twitter or Instagram for chances to win prizes! Then, join us at Langley Eats Local (August 2nd 12:00-4:30 at the Market) to pick up a goodie bag to reward yourself, and join in the festivities.
